The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The River- 7.5 X 11 on Fabrino paper. I was experimenting with permanent ink as an under painting and then some loose watercolors. The ink dried instantly and was a good blueprint for a quick painting.
