Some think the earth is a pleasant place where life can evolve in serenity.
Nature speaks that the earth is an active and changing place.
The canvas was prepared with acrylic texture. Some knife work in the completion of the painting.
POEM:

Earth as Serenity

Images pour in
Violent shaking of our serene earth.
Waves and walls of water moving and removing buildings,
ships and trains.
Waves displacing life with water.

A false sense of serenity as we sit on our warm beach,
gently lapped by waves of water and sun.

It has always been.
Life evolved in spite of sitting on an active,moving planet.

Serenity sitting on powerful volcanoes,tornadoes, the effects of our earth and sun.

In search of serentiy on a cracking,shaking, moving planet.
...on an earth moved by wind and water.

Is our vision of "Earth as Serenity" only a temporary
delusion?
