Gypsy Princess for a coworker.
11 X 15 Watercolor. Thankful to my coworker for a great reference photo.

Thought about the doing the back ground first and then loved the dark patterns so much I started there.
Thought I would document my brief process.
1. I credit my coworker with a great photo. Worked with a color photo and an enlarged black and white.
2. Drew or traced very lightly.
3. Laid in dark areas, some hard lined and some softer using a mix of Alz. Crimson,Thalo Green and Prussian Blue.
4. Added accent colors as I painted: Sepia, Alz. and Quinn Gold.
5. Added abstract background: Sepia, Lemon and Ultra Marine Blue.
6. Cleaned up with wet,clean brush and minimal lifting and adding occasional accents.
7.Signed.
