Warren, this is a fabulous watercolor! Your color, beautiful edges and the vibrancy make this quite special. You have so many lovely paintings -- love the sea turtle! Thanks for your nice comment about my Liquid Leaves II and, yes, the dark part was made with gauze. I used surgical gauze because it seems to make prettier designs than the regular kind.
